The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who unfurled the National Flag at the historic Golconda, promised to fill up 84,876 jobs in government sector. Job generation is an important responsibility on the part of the government. Every political party makes a promise in this regard and in many cases it forgets its word after coming to power. The Chief Minister gave details of different departments with the vacancies to be filled up in it. He said in addition to 27, 660 appointments that were made, the government will soon initiate the process to recruit more 84,876 jobless persons. The total will be 1,12,536 which is more than one lakh jobs the government promised. He said power would be supplied to all houses soon, because Telangana became a power surplus state. Through Mission Bhagiratha, the tap water will be supplied to all people. The Chief Minister spoke of almost all development schemes including Bhagya Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak taken up by the government. He was all praise for the police department and She Teams manned by it. He said drug menace would be rooted out by the police.
The Chief Minister flayed all opposition parties for making baseless criticism. The people will not believe in their word because they had faith in him. These parties were creating hurdles in implementation of developmental schemes. Under a new plan initiated by his government, 12 lakh cattle were distributed among 57000 families in rural areas. His was the first state government that took so many welfare schemes in a short span of time, he added.
