KCR takes on the BJP at the centre for the farmers’ issues

It is a fact that the Telangana government has taken up lot of schemes to support the farmers and after making all efforts at his level, the Chief Minister took on the centre  to redress their grievances. While addressing party workers at the constituency level of Adilabad,  K Chandrashekhar Rao said the centre should not test the patience of the farmers who are passing through lot of hardship. He said the TRS MPs would grill the government of India on the minimum support prices of various crops. He said the prices of consumer goods were hiked and the DA of government staff was also raised but the minimum support price was not increased. Farmers are waiting for the raise in the support price but the government was looking other way.

He said his government took up many schemes for the welfare of the farmers and no state government could come to the level of Telangana. It is the only state that is providing 24-hour power supply to the farmers. Now he has got every right to question the centre. He said the Congress and the BJP were criticizing him but none of them did anything to bring change in the life of farmers. He said he would sanction a mini-aerodrome at the headquarters of Adilabad. A Marathi college will also be set up there for the benefit of Maharashtra people who settled there, he promised.
