Yogi Adityanath goes on a communal tirade against minorities

Yogi Adityanath from BJP has once again sparked controversy by stating that Congress Party has become infected by a Green Virus. Addressing an election rally, Yogi Adityanath spoke about Congress president Rahul Gandhi filing his nomination from Kerala’s Wayanad parliamentary constituency and claimed that only green flags were visible at the time.

“You might have seen Rahul Gandhi’s nomination rally at one of the seats in Kerala, there was only greenery visible there. Congress flag was nowhere to be seen. Congress is suffering from this green virus, it has got infected by it”, he said.

The Chief Minister also accused the Congress of indulging in appeasement politics.

“Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh once said that Muslims have the right over the country’s resources, to this I want to ask the Congress that where should the rest of the country go for resources,” said Yogi Adityanath.

Uttar Pradesh will see polling in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections as the national elections begin on 11 April, 2019. The results will be declared on May 23.

In the absence of development issues, BJP ideologues have time and again indulged in hate-filled politics and sparked communal tensions in order to polarize the masses. This has once again created an atmosphere of hate in the Indian elections where people are divided in the name of religion.

Launching an attack on Congress, the UP CM said, “You must have seen green-coloured flags were waved during the nomination of the Congress chief in Wayanad. The flag belongs to the Muslim League party, which is responsible for the division of the country. The green virus is scaring the entire nation; the opposition parties are not concerned about the security of the nation. Pakistan and the opposition are having problems with the strictness of the government.”
