Shaziya Faizan: A strong, emerging female voice in Delhi politics

As the Delhi elections come nearer, all the political parties are busy campaigning for their particular candidates with vigour and enthusiasm. Aam Aadmi Party has a strong hold on the Delhi elections under the leadership of charismatic leader Arvind Kejriwal. One more name that has emerged as a voice of the downtrodden and underprivileged sections of the society is that of Shaziya Faizan who is a member of the Ambedkar National Congress Party.

She is a hard-working woman committed to the values of secularism and constitution who is admired and respected in the Okhla region of New Delhi. She considers Dr. B. R. Ambedkar as her inspiration and always espouses values of liberalism, secularism and equality in her speeches.

She is contesting the elections from 54, Vidhan Sabha Region with hopes of protecting the constitutional values and ensuring egalitarianism in her constituency. She is emerging as a strong voice against the fascist tendencies of the ruling party BJP and as a strong alternate to the already established parties in Delhi.

As Delhi gears up for Assembly Polls, all the parties are trying to leave a positive imprint on the voters. There are communal parties like BJP whose only rhetoric is the religious polarization and hatred while there are parties like Ambedkar National Congress that is established by Mohammad Kazam Khan that has been tirelessly working for the rights of Dalits on the path laid by Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

Shaziya Faizan is a member of the same Ambedkar National Congress and the people of her constituency have committed strong support to her and her party.
